Programme Overview
The Makerspace is a vocational training initiative designed to equip young individuals with practical skills, access to modern tools, and mentorship opportunities that promote economic independence.
At the CTIW Foundation, we recognize the dignity that comes with being able to provide for oneself and one’s family. Through this programme, young people are given the opportunity to learn valuable skills that can lead to employment or entrepreneurship.
Many young individuals face the frustration of completing their education but remaining unemployed. The Makerspace was created to bridge this gap—transforming potential into productivity and restoring a sense of purpose and responsibility.
Our work within communities has shown that beyond employment, young people seek dignity, confidence, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to society. The Makerspace exists to meet that need by providing a space where skills are developed, ideas are nurtured, and futures are built.t
