Programme Overview
The Homework Support Programme is a structured initiative, designed to provide students with a dedicated time and space to complete their schoolwork, explain difficult concepts under the guidance of trained staff.
We designed this program to provide academic guidance to students and improve understanding of school subjects. In essence, it transforms homework from an often stressful task into a supervised, collaborative, and skill-building activity.
The core objective of the Homework Support Programme is to provide a structured, supervised environment where students can complete academic tasks accurately, develop independent study habits, and receive targeted assistance to bridge learning gaps.
It is open to all students in need of academic assistance. It is typically held 2 times per week; Mondays and Fridays with each session lasting for 2 hours.
The mission is to empower students to become independent, confident, and self-sufficient learners by removing barriers to academic success outside of the traditional school day. The purpose of this programme is to decrease anxiety in schoolwork and to also reduce academic avoidance behavior and late submission.
